I have been learning to use language features to suit the purpose of my writing. I have used similes
to make my writing more interesting. The best part of this is the What Am I riddle.  My next step is to get better at using trickier words.

I found This easy because already know lots about stick inserts.
If I didn't know I sanded it out and fond the meaning from the book.

My Pepeha Art

we have been learning what a Pepeha is. A Pepeha is a way of introducing yourself in Maori.  This is my pepeha.  It shows my maunga (mountain), awa (river) and learning pathway.  I enjoyed making the pepeha because you got to design it yourself.  I am proud of my work.
